Pros: Follows the tried and true Pokemon formula, improved graphics and sound, it’s Pokemon!

Cons: Most improvements are fairly minor, where’s my Bulbasaur?

The Bottom Line: Pokemon Ruby is a worthy successor to the Pokemon legacy, but if you’re not already a Pokemaniac, it won’t do much to change your mind.

Pros: It's not a bad game...

Cons: I can't put my finger on why I don't love this... a mixture of things.
