Pros: 20 characters, colorful graphics, new gameplay elements, loads of multi-player fun
Cons: short single-player, only 16 tracks, small and bland battle arenas
The Bottom Line: Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is a wonderful update to the series, although it lacks truly revolutionary advances. Its a fun game, but wont become a cult classic.

Pros: The ability to change drivers, more battle modes, good multiplayer.
Cons: Characters still cheat, can't hop around corners, game requires stuff to be unlocked.
The Bottom Line: Mario Kart: Double Dash will provide several hours if not days of fun filled entertainment for those who like racing or battle games. More players the better.

Pros: fun racing experience, wonderful environments, fast-paced play, gameplay physics/mechanics, multiplayer
Cons: surges in AI difficulty, emphasis on items
The Bottom Line: Great, great racing title to add to your Gamecube collection. Very fun and enjoyable experience, even to this diehard PS2 guy.

The Bottom Line: This is a must-buy game for the gamecube. The more people you have playing the more fun you'll have.
