Pros: New cutscenes, amazing graphics, excellent gameplay. Visually....stimulating
Cons: If you have played the original, not much is new.
The bottom line: Give it a try, it's worth the hours of uninterrupted (aside from food and bathroom breaks) play. Fun to MGS veterans and MGS newbies alike. Enjoy:)

Like any other Metal Gear fan, the thought of Twin Snakes whetted my tactical stealth appetite. Luckily my brother bought it first. The first thing I noticed was the amazing graphics. The characters were not blurry as they were in MGS, and by god, Meryl is cute! The game is visually stimulating, the game play is great, but it's like a Rerun of Friends, not worth watching twice.
The thing I loved about it was the cut scenes. From playing the first one, I knew what ones were boring, like talking to the Armstech president Kenneth Baker. Others, like the Ninja slicing and dicing a bunch of doomed henchmen, were worth sticking around for. All the cut scenes are exaggerated, making them that much cooler. When Liquid uses the Hind to blow the connecting bridge of the towers, a large piece of metal launches towards Snake. Instead of taking cover, he pulls a grenade and blows it sky high. Goozefraba, Snake, Goozefraba.
The replay value of Twin Snakes is a little higher then that of the original MGS. Now that you can sneak up on any poor Genome Soldier and get his Dog Tags, it makes it more fun. Plus the Bandana and Stealth Suit...
Twin Snakes is a quality mix of Stealth and Bust-A-Cap action. Your best bet is to pop guys from afar and stuff their bodies in a nearby locker or toss them down the trap door, but if Instant Death and carnage are your cup of tea, then that is there also. Good Luck surviving though. Twin Snakes is good to have in your wall of GC games, whether you played MGS or not, though it's better if you have not
