The bottom line: Buy it, read the walkthrough guide, and have lots of fun! I'm already anxious for the sequel!
I have played some of the Legend of Zelda games in the past but this was by far the best one ever and possibly the most fun I've ever had playing any video game. The graphics are so beautiful that many times I was just enjoying the scenery alone. I love how huge the map was and how many vast areas of it that you could spend time exploring. There were several areas and towns and you could even go inside of the buildings. You start out alternating between playing as Link and playing as the wolf and then, later in the game you have the ability to change form at will and be either one you'd wish. I wouldn't say I'm a very "hard-core" gamer so I always need guides to play games like this. Even so, this was quite a lot of fun and I played this game many hours at a time without realizing how much time passed. You could easily get very absorbed in this game. There were even fun side games that you could play within this game as well and you could also go fishing. I loved this game so much that I have played it through completely two times so far. You will definitely get your moneys worth with this game. There is so much to do! Even girls (like me) would enjoy playing a game like this.
