Now to tell you the truth, the reason I bought this game was because it was really cheap. I'n not the biggest basketball fan in the world so I didn't expect this game to be great. I got home from the mall and put the game into my nintendo. Then I say down and started playing it and got captured by the game and couldn't stop playing until the check for the electricity bill bounced.

Most of the players in the game look great and there are a ton of great new dunks in the game, along with the moves from the 99 version of this game. The stadiums look great and the art on the court looks great. The only downside to the graphics is the players jerseys, they don't look as good as they could have.

The gameplay is great, the controls suit the game superbly. The controls are so good that they anyone can have fun with this game even if they aren't basketball fans.

The only downside to this game is the poor sound. The commentary gets quite repeditive and gets damn annoying after a couple of games. The crowd doesn't sound very impressive either, the crowd doesn't get into the game.

Ending the review off a high note. They also threw in a 3D version of the original NBA Jam, it's fun to play when you get bored of the simulation mode.
