Mario Strikers Charged... Hmm...
Pros: Online play, characters, stages.
Cons: Electric fence, very hard CPU characters, cheap shots.
The bottom line: Decent game but it still needs some work.

Well, I bought this game quite a while back. While the roster is enjoyable and the gameplay is pretty fun, it can become repetitive after a while.
First off, the characters. They've brought back quite a few characters, which consists of 12 captains and 8 sidekicks. Mario, Peach, Birdo, Toad, and other kind of characters are in this game. So, for the roster, it's pretty good.
Now... we get to story mode aka Road to the Striker Cup. While the first rounds of story mode are easy to accomplish... when you get into the later rounds, the CPU begins to use many cheap shots, making it almost impossible to unlock Petey Pirahna, whose team pretty much cheats. I could not stand how ridiculous it was to try and beat that guy! And, you cannot change your team at all unless you restart from the beginning, and losing will then make you start the entire season over again!
OK, so let's move onto stages. They brought back the previous 7 stages from Mario Strikers for the GameCube, and there was an additional 10 stages added, which brings the game to 17 stages, most of which need to be unlocked in story mode. They are surrounded by an electric fense, and if tackled, it will shock your character, and the logical thing to do would be to have to switch to another player on the field. But, as for the stages, there's no complaints about that.
Now, gameplay. Gameplay is fun, but as I said, can become repetitive. It uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuck combo. It can be quite hard to master the controls, and it can get very annoying that if you teleport when next to a electric fence, you'll get shocked. Online play is nice, because it will tell you how good the connection is between you and your opponent. Although, many players online cheat, as they constantly are able to throw the ball above your goalie and transport throughout the whole game. So, online play willo nly be fun with friends. With random people, prepare to be cheated out off all your points.
Well, this is a good game, but it suffers from a few flaws.
