Pros: Great intuitive control!
Cons: Lack of gaming direction/objectives
The bottom line: Great racing game for the graphics and exclusive Wii control

I actually bought this product because I used to play one of its predecessors on Playstation. That, and the fact that I bought a wii steering wheel to try out with it. When I first tried it, it was a little overwhelming and the controls sucked. But then I realised it was the steering wheel that I was using which completely hindered my gameplay. Since then I have been using the Wii remote alone and am racing through the courses like it's second nature. Well, it kind of is second nature; all the freaking out, bobbing and twisting I used to do while playing it on Playstation actually comes in handy- that's actually how you steer the car (well one of the options)! Lean the controller to the left or right, to steer in that direction. This controller configuration permits you to hold the Wii remote width-wise with the buttons facing up. A is gas, B is brake- and a couple more buttons for other tricks (Speedbreaker, Parking Brake, Chase Car, etc.). It is sooooo intuitive. You can also tweak the steering response if it is too tight or loose for your control. This allows for the best customized racing and tuning; and each person doesn't need a wii steering wheel! The graphics are also great as well. The tuning that I have accessed so far is pretty good. The only thing I don't like about the game is the lack of direction given after completing a 'turf challenge' race. After completing it, the game allows you to 'free roam' through the city and drive through others' turf. I suspect this is to get the attention of other rival gangs to challenge you to another race. Well, I did that for about 25 minutes with nothing but cops chasing me. I did evade them, and was expecting points or parts upgrades- but nothing. I eventually just saved my progress and jumped to the next race manually.
