Pros: Puzzles, gorgeous music, solid story, innovative combat, lots of extras, restored story subtlety, detailed cinemas

Cons: Voice acting a little wooden, minorly pixellated close-ups, some boss issues, "burrito effect"

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this game without hesitation. It does a solid job of restoring yet reinventing the wonder and fear of the series. Try it just for the improved combat!

Pros: Great graphics and story, responsive controls, great voice acting, excellent puzzle and level design.

Cons: Its for Playstation Portable, a little on the short side.

The Bottom Line: If you like Silent Hill, this is mandatory. If you own a PSP, this is also mandatory.
