I simple loved the game...I love RPG's...and this is honestly the best one...It's from the makers of Resident 1, 2, and 3...I liked that it's not as hard as RE 1, 2, and 3...in Dino Crisis 2...it tells you what goes where...such as the keys to different doors...it tells you what key you need to open the door...The game is very well laid out.
The map that Dino Crisis 2 gives you is very easy to read and understand...and the addition of the dinosaurs is very well played...each dinosaur has a way to either get away from it or kill it...and the dino files that you find along the way tell you there weakness.
The addition of Dillan (instead of the original Regina) was a great idea, but was easily guessed...it was very easy to see that a new character would be added...but still a great move...the "Mini Movies" as i like to call them, or "cut scenes" are very well designed.
The graphics are great...grant it that in most of the cut scenes the characters mouths don't move...but still...the cut scenes are great...and the voices of the characters are great...they're very well understood and very articulate.
Regina's wardrobe and Dillan's were very well picked...The weapons are excellent...such as the missle pod...others are very useful too...such as the fire wall, keeping your enemy at bay with a wall of fire...and the addition of a main weapon and a sub-weapon was a great idea.
Now instead of pausing and having to select a different weapon, you can just use one button to access a whole different weapon...and you can think of sub-weapons that will compliment the main weapon...such as if your main weapon's very heavy and you can't arm it fast enough...you can use a sub-weapon to hold the enemy at bay, while getting ready with your other weapon to blast it to pieces.
On a final note the ending (i won't give it away) leaves a great opening for a sequel...and i hope that capcom uses it to their advantedge to make another Dino Crisis...Great work Capcom.
