Pros: A very frightening game, with creepy graphical style and mind-rending sound-effects.
Cons: The plot is somewhat ambigious. VERY scary to play, even now. Even for me.
The Bottom Line: Scary. Very Scary. I don't like to play it in the dark all alone kind of scary.

Pros: Unnerving story and atmosphere.
Cons: Voice acting and some control issues.
The Bottom Line: In order to fully appreciate Silent Hill 3, one must play Silent Hill 1. You will be glad you did.

Pros: Atmospheric, convoluted story, very good concept.
Cons: Awful control scheme.
The Bottom Line: Get ready to spend many a night in a cold sweat, Silent Hill will captivate you in its horror and will not let go.

Pros: Great atmosphere, characters and scare factor.
Cons: Seriously? For this game? None...
The Bottom Line: Just in the nick of time for before Silent Hill 2 comes out...Great game, scare factor is off the wall.

Pros: Eerie atmosphere makes for a frightening game, complete with multiple endings.
Cons: Game may be a little too intense for some. Some graphic problems.
The Bottom Line: A creepy and disturbing game that combines the gameplay of Resident Evil with the atmosphere of the first D. A must have for anyone who loves a real good scare!

Cons: Some difficult puzzles, controls need a little redesign
The Bottom Line: Silent Hill is the absolute best best horror game I’ve seen.

Pros: Awesome lighting, sounds, and atmospheric effects! Truly a frightening gaming experience! Evil shadow babies! The ending music is great!!!!
Cons: well.....uhhhh.........hmm....let me see here!.......nope...can't think of anything really!....the graphics are a teeny tiney tad weak, but that TRULY doesn't make a difference...
