Pros: good graphics, creativity, cunning sense of humor
Cons: cliffhanger ending (i don't like them), RYNO IV removes almost all challenge of game
The bottom line: If you own a PS3 this is a must-have for your gaming collection. It is very fun, creative, and is able to mix some humor into all the action.
I have always enjoyed the Ratchet and Clank series from the beginning and Tools of Destruction does not fail to bring a easy to pick up, extremely entertaining experience.

If you own a Playstation 3, GET THIS GAME. This is a must have game that anybody can enjoy. There is a never-ending list of why you should enjoy this game but the main selling point of the Ratchet and Clank series still holds true. The weapons are awesome.

There are numerous weapons to collect and unleash upon your enemies in creative ways. In addition to having numerous weapons, you can continuously upgrade your weapons do deal more damage and if you fully upgrade them, the weapons usually gets extremely strong along with an added effect. It is hard not to try to upgrade everything just to see what it becomes in the end. A new upgrade system has been added on the side as well in which you can use raritanium to upgrade specific aspects of the gun such as firepower, fire rate, and a bonus ability.

As always, there are your basic machine gun, shotgun, and rocket launcher type weapons but that's never enough in a Ratchet and Clank game. Some new additions to this one are:
-tornado launcher, controlled with the SIXAXIS
-razor claws, fast melee weapons that become stronger as you attack enemies without being hit
-plasma beast, launches a beast that finds and throws itself at an enemy
-RYNO IV, Okay, if you've ever obtained a RYNO weapon in a Ratchet and Clank game, you know that the RYNO is the ultimate weapon and usually takes most to all of the challenge out of the game. I'm not going to tell you what it does, but it deals so much death-per-second that you don't need to know what it does. But, to obtain it, you must bring all parts of a holo-plan to a character and the last holo-plan is right before the last boss so you can't use it much during the first playthrough but it is still very useful in challenge mode (the option of playing the game again but with stronger enemies and you can further the upgrading of your weapons.)

The new versions of returning weapons have also been slightly changed so don't forget about them either.

Also there has been the addition of combat devices. These useful little gadgets help get through tricky parts of the game if you want to use them. They are by no means necessary but it's still fun to use them from time to time. The most entertaining item in the game is a combat device called the Groovitron, which makes all the enemies on-screen dance to disco music! During so, you can take your time to obliterate them with the weapon of your choice, or just watch them dance, whichever you like. =)
