Almost two years after the Xbox 360 was released.... 360 launches the best Halo series game yet. Great story line, awesome multiplayer modes such as 1 on 1 and Big Team Battle. Don't forget AWESOME graphics! However, a few inches off a bulls eye!
Every enemy from 1&2 come back smarter then ever, ecspecially on legendary mode. Although the elites are now your friends... don't expect to be fighting these guys anytime during H3. Burtes take on some elite tactics like cloaking and there own answer to a plazma sword-a gravity hammer!
Almost all of the old weapons are back in addition to a truck load of new ones. I really like the detachable turrets. Even though they may slow you down a little. Mongoose and Chopper complement previous Halo vehicles well, but the best addition is a powerful UNSC answer to the Banshee.
Halo 3 multiplayer mode is king of all the games out there it features the Big team Battle... and classic Slayer. Big team battle is a 8 on 8 battle with territory's, capture the flag, and big team slayer.
However, Halo 3 does have a few small problems that are primarily located in the campaign. First off, full on boss battles are noticeably absent. Sure, youll fight a few massive enemies, but none of them really feel like a true boss. And the last major fight is more like a quick interactive cutscene than a knock-down, drag-out fight. This is especially disappointing because there is one obvious candidate Bungie could have used and didnt. Also, there is plenty of trudging back and forth through the same environments in addition to the whole Okay, we deactivated this tower. Now lets take care of the next one with the exact same layout. There are a few other nitpicky issues I have, but these are all relatively minor when you look at the big picture.
In the end, Bungie has outdone itself for the third time!
