My brother received an Xbox 360 for Christmas. Of course, he had to buy Guitar Hero, and Call of Duty. In the wee hours of Christmas night, he decided to try the demo version of Viva Piñata. We were soon hooked! The next day the game store was open and we bought it with excitement.
When you start the game, you get a piece of land that is now your garden. Piñatas of all shapes and sizes will soon come wandering in. If they stay, they will get brightly colored, and will not be able to leave. The piñatas are very cute. There are tons of animals to gather, but beware; some of the animals are not so nice. They are called "sours" and will eat your existing resident piñatas.
After playing for a few hours, my land got upgraded and more piñatas were visiting my garden. There are stores to buy houses, seeds, and even a doctor to heal sick piñatas.
Overall, Viva Piñata is a great game. Although highly addictive, it is still really fun and is good for all ages.
