I liked this game quite a bit. I think the last game I played like it was Knights of the Old Republic. Obviously by the same people, this game is very similar in its somewhat free gameplay and well written storylines. So far I have only played as one type of character, that being a renegade soldier. The game kind of starts a little slow and when you first play if you don't read instructions (which I don't) its a little bit challenging to figure out exactly how to access all of the menus. Once you get past all the initial introduction stuff, learning why you're here and what you are here to do the game is a lot of fun. I enjoyed the main quest and the various planets available to land on and explore. I must say I was a little disappointed in the side quests. I've done a lot of them and the rewards are pretty minimal while they are sometimes time consuming. My first run through the game I actually skipped a bunch of the side quests and just beat the main quest in about 20 hrs. Not too bad for an RPG and also doesn't swallow up your life in the process.
