Click for the full in-depth review! Anyone who doesn't think this is an excellent new IP. In a gaming world where sequels are played out until they are no longer innovative what so ever. This is a really nice breath of fresh air and it really comes through!

Graphics
These are some of the better graphics seen on the 360. They are simply beautiful. They also move smoothly along the screen and everything is very well animated. You will not be disappointed by the graphics if there is anything to even come plain about, the graphics are untouchable. Every world and enemy you encounter is gorgeously created from the ground up you can tell this game was built for the xbox 360!

Game play
The game play is very smooth. You can easily switch weapons you are carrying or the weapons your teammates are carrying. This is done with only about a 2-5 second pause in the fighting action when you get it down pat. The camera system is also very well done. It is nearly flawless as there are only a few times during this game where I was annoyed with the selected camera angle for the action I had encountered. That is almost unheard of today as most games the camera system is the worst part of the game. The game play runs smooth and is very easy to pick up.

Bottom line. You will pick up the game play in no time flat. It is very easy to figure out and once you do you will not forget! The learning curve is not steep and wont take long to master!

Level up system
You simply get points to distribute on different abilities your character has. The specialty of your character determines what attributes your character will receive so keep that in mind when selecting what you are in regards your warrior class: Solider, engineer, infiltrator etc. Each will have unique abilities that may not be shared with other warriors.

xboxlive
This game doesn’t support xboxlive multiplayer. This is a single player adventure only! But, it does support content download and has recently received a hefty download to expand the titles life. It seems it will get nice support and continue to grow and expand into an even better game, then it was during release! They are on the right path and all they have to do is stay on that path and xboxlive can be very beneficial to the longevity of a game!

Achievement Points
There are 46 achievement points worth 1000 gamer points. You should be able to acquire most if not all of these achievement points, however this will mean multiple times beating the game. There are simple ones like: Complete Feros, Complete Eden Prime, but then there are harder ones to achieve such as: Complete 2 Mass Effect Playthroughs on any setting. Find all primary Alien: Council Races, Extinct Races and Non-Council Races codex entries. So you can expect to get them all if you dedicate game time to beat this game multiple times!

Overall
This is an excellent new IP. The future of this franchise hinges on what EA will let them do with it now. If EA keeps there hands off of it expect this franchise to stay strong. Regardless of the future installments, this game is amazing and all types of gamers will enjoy this epic. I have beat this game multiple times and it is really fun every time you go through it! There are so many different paths to follow, that you will actually want to give this game more then one go around. Buy it, play it, love it!
