Pros: Great graphics
Cons: Bad gameplay
The bottom line: Nba 2k6 is way better. I wouldn't get this

This game has some of the best graphics I have ever seen, but that's basically all that the game has got going for it. Nba 2k6 beats it in just about every other aspect but graphics. The gameplay in live is pretty jerky and the camera angles are horrible. I found only one camera angle that I really liked and but when you are going fast across the court or you pass it to someone way down the court, the camera cannot keep up with the ball and you are forced to guess where you guy is.
The gameplay also gets slow sometimes and you will probably wish sometimes that you could skip certain parts of the little clips of the players that they show. Like when you call a timeout you have to watch the players talk with the coaches which takes about ten seconds. Which isn't horrible, but I wish you could skip it.
I didn't play much of the online play but what I did try, there was some lag that got kind of frustrating. I can't really tell how bad this lag was because I only played one game.
The sound is pretty good but some of the music is really annoying.
The gameplay is really not the best and the shooting is pretty different. You have X as the layup and dunk button and the B button for your shooting button. I really would not reccomend buying this game. A rental would be better. But in the battle of the basketball games Nba 2k6 definately wins.
