Pros: Very fast, silent, no paper jams.
Cons: As all printers: an expensive cartridge.
The bottom line: Great for home use

Pro's (in order of importance):
- very fast: 1 page is printed in no time, printing 100 pages takes only 6 minutes.
- silent: only when paying attention, a hum can be heard.
- I've not had any paper jam after printing 400 pages, reusing paper that is not in a perfect condition (containing folds, small stapler holes, etc...).
- very high text quality.
- compact: in its expanded state, it takes the surface of 2 A4 pages.
- cheap for its great performance: I paid 130 for it.
- in contrast to what I have read, the paper input tray can hold more than enough pages to be convenient.
- stylish design
Con:
- pricy toner: 50/1500 pages. However, I doubt other printers for home usage do better in this respect.
- low quality images: noticeable imperfections.
- the initial cartridge is only half a normal one (700 pages instead of 1500).
- there is a slight smell after printing. It doesn't bother me, though.
Compared to my former inkjet printer (HP Deskjet 660C), this is a *very* good machine. It is *much* faster, there are no paper jams and it operates quietly. Also, because this is a laser printer, the ink is more fixed than when using an inkjet. You can use a yellow marker without making a mess. In my opinion, this is a perfect printer to be used at home.
