Pros: Max Payne + John Woo = awesome
Cons: occasionally looks cheap, some framerate issues, only 6 hours long
The Bottom Line: Following a winning formula- Stranglehold is a quick action game flick that's hollow but entertaining

Pros: loads of action, solid gameplay, great sound effects
Cons: short, bland multiplayer, gets repetitive
The Bottom Line: Stranglehold looks and feels like a John Woo movie. That alone is worth the money. Just dont expect a great narrative.

Pros: Entertaining, jaw-dropping explosions.
Cons: Short single player experience, multiplayer is a bust.
The Bottom Line: You'll be so happy that you only rented this game because that's how long it'll keep you entertained.

Pros: An experience true to Woo's operatic style and the "Hard Boiled" universe.
Cons: Some may not appreciate that.
The Bottom Line: -

Pros: John Woo movies meet video gaming in this outrageously violent shoot-em-up
Cons: Gameplay is a 3 trick pony. Forgettable Multiplayer.
The Bottom Line: Max Payne with updated gameplay gets repetitive real quick. Its good but not great. If Stranglehold's Multiplayer was better, I'd have given a 4 star rating.

Pros: animations are solid, and the showdowns are intense and very cool.
Cons: The game just lacks polish in some areas (the sliding is odd). Not much fun.
The Bottom Line: This just felt like it should have been better. It was very stylistic, but in the end too short and never really held my interest. Too short to buy
