Pros: Great graphics and a lot of fun to play with 2-4 people on one Xbox.
Cons: Very difficult to putt and takes a lot of time to become a great golfer.
The bottom line: I say it's a sure purchase for the price but Tiger 07 is a much better game.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 is an awesome game but requires much more skill and time if you plan on mastering it. Putting would have to be the toughest part of the game. No more caddy tips in 06. There is an ideal put line but it can be tricky at times. The tour mode is pretty cool for this game but does become a bit repetitive after doing the same type of tournaments over and over again. It starts getting pretty interesting once you train your golfer enough to start competing in professional events. It is also tough to unlock all of the golfers and all of the courses without putting an extreme amount of time into the game. I enjoyed this game more for local multiplayer than I did for the Tour mode. It is a lot of fun when you are playing it with two to four people on the same Xbox. The graphics are very impressive, especially if you are playing on a high definition television! Overall it is a very good game but hardly compares to the improved Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to sharpen up their Tiger skills for a low price.
